Arizona’s Leaders React To Paris Massacre

Arizona’s leaders expressed shock and called forprayers after the massacre of innocents in Paris on Friday night.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey tweeted: “Shocking and heartbreaking. Arizona’s thoughts and prayers are with the victims, the hostages, the families and the city. God bless Paris.”

Rep. Matt Salmon issued a statement: “My thoughts and prayers are with the citizens of France and the families of those innocents who lost their lives in today’s bloodshed. We anxiously await news that those repulsive individuals who murdered and kidnapped innocent Parisians today are quickly brought to account for their crimes.”

“Only through the strength and assistance of our first ally were we as Americans able to reclaim the inalienable rights endowed to us by our Creator. As France struggles to cope with this tragedy, we in America stand fully behind her.”

Rep. David Schweikert posted on Facebook: “My prayers to the families who have been impacted.”

Rep. Trent Franks posted on Facebook: “Please ‪#‎prayforparis‬. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by these terror attacks. France, we stand with you.”

Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick posted on Facebook: “Terrible news from Paris tonight. Please keep the victims, the first responders, and all of France in your thoughts and prayers.”

Rep. Kyrsten Sinema ‏tweeted: “America stands strong with you tonight, #Paris. Sending our love across the pond.”

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton ‏tweeted: “Phoenix stands with #Paris. The horrible murders will not detract from the strength of its people.”
