Second Glendale Shooting Homicide In Two Days

Just before 5:00 pm Sunday evening Glendale Police responded to multiple calls reporting a shooting at a residence in the 6500 block of Mountain View Road. Officers responded and located a single victim in front of a home.

The victim was treated by Peoria Fire and transported with life-threatening injuries. Witnesses were interviewed, but the suspect fled the area. Detectives on the scene took over the investigation.

The victim, a 16-year old male, was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. His name will not be released due to his age. At this time, the suspect is only described as a skinny white male in his teens. He was last seen running eastbound from the scene and possibly fled in a vehicle. Investigators still on-scene are working diligently on this incident.
