Tucson City Court Extends Hours Every Tuesday

Beginning today, May 30, 2017, Tucson City Court will offer extended hours every Tuesday. The Court will be extending its hours of operation every Tuesday for the customer service center and Walk-in Warrant Court to 6:30 p.m. The last customer service and Walk-in Warrant Court service numbers will be issued at 6:30 p.m. and staff will serve everyone issued a number.

Extending the operating hours of the customer service center and Walk-in Warrant Court will provide the public access to these court services after the Court’s normal business hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The extended hours of operation are part of Tucson City Court’s plan to implement specific recommendations at the local level of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Justice for All Report, published Aug. 12, 2016.

Tucson City Court will track use of services offered during extended hours and determine whether the use merits offering extended hours on additional days of the week. Tuesdays were selected for the initial offering of the extended hours as the Tuesday after a three day weekend is busier than normal.
