Sierra Vista Man Arrested For Assault, Kidnapping

The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a local man, 51-year-old Sierra Vista resident Brian Sullivan, on Tuesday evening after investigating a kidnapping incident at the Regency Inn & Suites, located at 250 Carroll Drive.

Officers responded to the hotel at about 6:48 p.m. on Tuesday after a woman reported she had been attacked. Officers learned the victim had been held against her will inside the suspect’s room for an extended period of time.

After a witness on scene was able to corroborate some of the victim’s story, Sullivan was arrested on scene without incident. He was booked into Cochise County Jail on charges of attempted sexual assault, kidnapping, and assault. Sullivan has since been released from jail.
