Sierra Vista Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect, Other Sought

A Bisbee woman arrested at a Sierra Vista motel on Sunday, July 2, for a warrant, has been charged by the Sierra Vista Police Department for her involvement in an armed robbery that occurred at the same motel in June.

SVPD police officers responded to the Bella Vista Motel, located at 1101 E. Fry Blvd. at 11:04 a.m. on Sunday to assist Sierra Vista Fire & Medical Services with a report of an unconscious subject. Officers made contact with 20-year-old Bisbee resident Lizbeth Eveningred, who had a warrant out of Cochise County for probation violation. Drug paraphernalia was also discovered at the scene.

Eveningred was arrested and transported to the Sierra Vista Police Department. There, detectives with the Special Operations Bureau questioned her in reference to an ongoing investigation into an armed robbery that occurred at Bella Vista Motel on June 18 at about 3 a.m. During that incident, a female victim was robbed inside her room at gunpoint by a woman and two men.

Eveningred was booked into the Cochise County Jail on the following charges: probation violation warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia, armed robbery, aggravated armed robbery, and kidnapping. She remains in custody on a $50,000 bond and a probation violation hold.

The two male suspects in the June 18 armed robbery have been identified as Sierra Vista residents Floyd Lawson and Errick Townsend. The Sierra Vista Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to locate them. If you have any information regarding their whereabouts, call 911 or the SVPD non-emergency dispatch line at (520) 458-3311 as soon as possible.
