Sun Tran and Teamsters Local 104 representatives developed a tentative agreement on a new labor contract. All bus service is expected to continue to operate as scheduled.
A tentative agreement on the new contract was reached tonight. The new contract will be voted on tomorrow by Teamsters workers. Teamsters leaders will give a full committee recommendation to ratify the tentative agreement.
The Sun Tran and Teamsters leaders, along with 3rd Party Negotiator Robert Guth, worked to develop a contract that worked for all parties in order to keep bus service running without interruption.
