On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at approximately 5:42 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Safeway located at 9705 North Thornydale Road for a report of a vehicle break-in. Upon arrival, deputies learned the victim’s vehicle had been broken into while it was parked in the parking lot and multiple items were taken.
A bank card taken from the vehicle was used later that same day at a Circle K on the southwest side of town. Video surveillance collected from the Circle K showed two male suspects using the bank card for multiple transactions.
The first suspect is described as:
- Caucasian, in his early-to-mid 20s, with a chin curtain beard and dark hair
- Medium height and build, with tattoos on both forearms
- Last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black t-shirt, and black pants
The second suspect is described as:
- African-American, in his early-to-mid 20s, with facial hair
- Approximately 6’0” tall, thin build
- Last seen wearing a red Arizona Cardinals beanie, gray sweatshirt, and red pants
Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying both suspects from this case.
