On June 15, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 12000 block of North Chama Drive in Fountain Hills, after receiving a report of home invasion. When Deputies arrived on scene they were advised two unknown male suspects entered the residence through the garage door and assaulted the residents.

The suspects reportedly bound the hands of a male resident, his girlfriend and their daughter and forced them into a bathroom and securing the bathroom door. The suspects then searched the residence and stole an unknown amount of cash, cell phones and other items.

The suspects fled the scene in the resident’s silver Volvo. The male resident was treated on scene by paramedics for a small cut on the upper cheek of his face.

The Volvo was later located by other Deputies half a mile away abandoned in the street near Desert Sage and Arroyo Court. The suspects were not located and detectives are still investigating.
