On July 22, 2017, at approximately 2:53 a.m., the Gila County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault and burglary in the area of Hunt Ave in Central Heights. The 82 year old victim was washing dishes at the time when she was assaulted inside her home by an unknown suspect.
The suspect was reportedly a stocky male wearing a white ski mask.
