On August 4, 2017, around 3:20 a.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the Dobson Road and Warner Road intersection. A vehicle traveling northbound on Dobson Road collided with a vehicle traveling westbound on Warner Road. The driver and lone occupant of the westbound vehicle died as a result of his injuries. The drivwe and lone occupant of the northbound vehicle, a juvenile, was released from the hospital with criminal charges pending.
According to Chandler Police, video footage reveals a number of uninvolved vehicles traveling through the intersection just prior to, and right after the collision. Investigators believe one or more individuals traveling in these vehicles may have witnessed the collision.
