Pima County Detectives Asking For Help Identifying CVS Thieves


On August 16, 2017, just after 3:00 p.m., Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the CVS located at 4748 East Sunrise Drive for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, deputies learned two female suspects had entered the store and taken multiple bottles of liquor from a locked cabinet.

Video surveillance showed the suspects cutting the locks off the top of the cabinet and then concealing the bottles of liquor in their purses and waistbands. They both exited the store and left in an unknown direction.

The first suspect is described as:

  • African-American, in her 30’s, with black hair tied in a bun
  • Approximately 5’7”tall, thin build, wearing a black sleeveless shirt and a long multi-colored dress

The second suspect is described as:

  • Hispanic, in her 30’s, with dark wavy hair
  • Approximately 5’5”, heavy build, wearing a multi-colored dress and pink purse

Detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
