Tucson Trap and Skeet Club’s Youth Fund Awards 2017 Scholarships

Joe is currently attending Yavapai College in Prescott Arizona in pursuit of a business degree that he will complete at Arizona State University.

Joe has held a full time job for the last three years besides going to school and becoming one of the top shotgun competitors in the nation.

Joe currently is on the NRA All Scholastic National Team for American and International Skeet (The only athlete in the nation on both teams), He is also on the Arizona State Skeet Association 2016 All State Team with the highest overall average. He was nominated and elected by the membership as the youngest board member in the history of the organization of the Arizona State Skeet Association a position he has held since 2015.

Joe has won 1st place in 17 different competitions in the last 2 years and he did all this while working full time and going to school.

Joe’s Reference letters all state that he is fine dedicated student who is well mannered, well behaved and always willing to help others, he has been instrumental in leading by example while seeking higher standards both himself and his teammates. He shows outstanding character, devotion and motivation in everything he does. His Mathematics Professor at Yavapai College has every confidence that this scholarship will well invested in Joe and not just spent. Joe will be a valuable asset where ever he goes.

The Second $5,000.00 Scholarship will be awarded to Robert Gauthier of Tucson, Arizona.

Robert has graduated from the Sonoran Science Academy with a 3.7 GPA and he will be attending the University of Arizona College of Engineering this fall. (2017)
