Rich Rod’s Daughter, Son Expose Accuser’s Alleged Text Messages

Raquel Rodriguez, daughter of former University of Arizona football coach, Rich Rodriguez, called out her father’s sexual harassment accuser on Twitter.

Raquel defended her father by sharing a text conversation she claimed she had with his accuser Melissa Wilhelmsen. Raquel, a University of Arizona senior and member of the cheerleading squad, was joined on Twitter by her brother Rhett, who is a quarterback for the team.

Rich Rodriguez was a victim of “ridiculous” claims that caused her family a great deal of pain, according to Raquel.

Wilhelmsen’s notice of claim alleged that while she was an administrative assistant, she was harassed by Rodriguez. She is suing for $7.5 million in damages.

Rhett claimed in a tweet that Wilhelmsen, “a woman allegedly so uncomfortable, constantly stressed and suffering migraines (which she claims was somehow pinpointed purely to stress at work) that she recommended to multiple people the poor unfortunate soul who should be her replacement was none other than..HER OWN SISTER”

Raquel tweeted:

“First off, I would like to say thank you to all the people that have reached out and supported myself and my family. It means the world to me and words cannot fully express my gratitude.”

“Second of all, I want to address the false and ridiculous claims of sexual harassment made by Melissa Wilhelmsen about my family and other people involved in the program. It specifically breaks my heart that my mother and I were extremely nice and supportive to her at all times and did nothing but treat her with respect, yet it seems to have meant nothing to her. I will never understand her actions. She is hurting my entire family, the other staff members and their families, the Arizona football team, the entire university, and sadly all the true victims of sexual harassment.”

“I have this text conversation between her and I the day she announced she was leaving the program. You be the judge whether or not this was a woman that hated going to work every day in such a ‘hostile environment.'”

According to Raquel, she told Wilhelmsen that she would “always be a part of our family.” Wilhelmsen allegedly responded: “I love you guys so much and am so grateful for all you guys have done for me as well! I’m only a phone call away.”
