Tucson Police Looking For Missing 1-Year-Old

On January 31, 2018, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Jeannette McCann Lopez was visiting with her 1-year-old daughter, Jeannette Grado, at the Wilmot Library (530 N. Wilmot Rd.). The visit was supervised due to the fact that the Department of Child Safety currently has legal custody of Grado.

During the visit, Lopez grabbed her daughter and fled from the library. An area search was conducted, but the two were not located.

On February 1, 2018, a felony arrest warrant was obtained for Lopez (Class 3 Felony – Custodial Interference). She is described as a Hispanic female, 5’7, 160 pounds with hazel eyes and dyed red/burgundy hair. She is 5 months pregnant and was last seen wearing a purple long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a backpack with a floral design.

1-year-old Jeannette Grado is described as a Hispanic female with short, curly brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink and white long sleeve shirt, jean jacket with pink trim, blue jeans and light-up pink and white shoes.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
