Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Advises Of New Rabies Cases

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Officers have advised of two new cases of wildlife testing positive for rabies.

A skunk that was recovered from Mescal and sent to State Lab 2/12/18 ( Interaction with Domestic Dog) has tested positive for Rabies.

A grey fox was recovered from Dos Cabezas and sent to State Lab 2/12/18 ( Interaction with Domestic Dog) has also tested positive for the Rabies Virus.
