Attorney’s Interim Suspension Stems From South Dakota Theft Allegations

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge of the Arizona Supreme Court has issued an order imposing interim suspension, until further order of the court, for Kevin S. Lewis of South Dakota.

The disciplinary action is a result of criminal allegations that were self-reported by Lewis.

Lewis’ misconduct resulted from a criminal matter where he accepted a plea agreement to one count of theft from a program receiving federal funds after he was accused of stealing $25,000 from Dakota Plains Legal Services. His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 14, 2018.
