Yuma Road Rage Incident Lands 2 Victims In Hospital

Randy Munoz, 29, of Yuma was arrested this weekend in connection with a road rage incident that landed 2 people in hospitals.

According to authorities, on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at approximately 10:54 a.m., the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible road rage incident involving a dark color Jeep Cherokee and a white F150 truck in the area of the 10800 block of E. North Frontage Road in Yuma.

Deputies discovered that Munoz had fired multiple shots into the victim’s vehicle. A male and female victim were located with gunshot wounds and transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center and later flown to a Phoenix area hospital. Munoz was located a short time later near his residence where he was taken into custody by the YCSO Criminal Investigation Bureau. He was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on 2 counts of Attempted Homicide and 4 counts of Aggravated Assault.
