Violent Illegal Aliens Apprehended By Yuma Sector Border Patrol Agents

Two violent felons were arrested by Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents after they illegally crossed into the United States on Saturday and Sunday.

The first felon, a previously deported 40-year-old Mexican national with convictions of aggravated battery and burglary in 2001, in Idaho Falls, Idaho was apprehended with another illegal alien at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Saturday. He is now being prosecuted for re-entry after deportation.

The duo illegally entered the country 17 miles east of San Luis.

On Sunday at approximately 7:15 p.m., , a convicted sex offender, was apprehended with a group of seven illegal aliens near Andrade, California.

The 47-year-old male Mexican national has an extensive criminal history, including a conviction of lewd and lascivious acts with a child in 1995. He stated he was attempting to return Los Angeles where that crime was committed. He is now being prosecuted for re-entry after deportation.
