Sierra Vista Police Arrest Man For Impersonating A Peace Officer

The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a man for impersonating a peace officer, stalking, and tampering with evidence on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

SVPD detectives arrested 32-year-old Sierra Vista resident Kenneth Hall at the Cochise County Adult Probation Office without incident. A search warrant was executed for his residence and for a vehicle he was driving at the time of his arrest. SVPD detectives obtained evidence of the crimes he is being charged with during those searches.

The investigation began on Friday, Dec. 14, when a report regarding Hall was made to the department. The investigation found that Hall had portrayed himself as a law enforcement official to numerous individuals at a local business. He also participated in an online game group that would meet at various locations within Sierra Vista. While in this group, Hall portrayed himself as a law enforcement official to the participants.

Hall is a registered level II sex offender who was in compliance with his sex offender requirements at the time of his arrest. He is currently being held in the Cochise County Jail without bond.
