An 18-year-old woman was killed and five people are hospital as a result of a shootout that occurred at a Phoenix motel on Sunday at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Two men began shooting at each other after a verbal altercation outside a motel located near 24th and Van Buren streets.
An investigation is underway.
