Police Investigating Homicide On Tucson’s East Side

Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Tucson’s east side.

A passerby called 911 on April 25, 2019, shortly before 4:00 p.m., to report that she found a deceased person along the Pantano Wash near 7600 E. Broadway Blvd. Detectives found obvious signs of trauma on the victim.

On April 26, 2019, an autopsy was conducted and the male’s death was determined to be a homicide, according to police.

Efforts to identify the victim have been unsuccessful.

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the victim. The victim is described as a light-skinned male, 55-65 years of age, standing 5’5 with a thin gray beard/goatee. He is possibly Asian with balding brown hair. The victim was wearing a pink/blue short sleeved plaid shirt with dark dress pants and brown dress shoes.
