Tucson woman arrested for selling fentanyl related to three overdoses

PHOENIX –A Tucson woman, Jocelyn Lopez-Sanchez, was indicted by a federal grand jury on May 1, 2019 in connection with three fatal drug overdoses.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Tucson Police Department investigated the overdoses of three individuals, one who later died, on Nov. 1, 2018, in Tucson, Ariz. Lopez-Sanchez was identified through the investigation as the alleged supplier of fentanyl that resulted in one victim’s death, and serious injury to the two remaining victims.

Lopez-Sanchez turned herself in to federal agents without incident.
