Listen: Threats To Phoenix Police Officers, Staff On 911

911

PHOENIX – On Monday, in response to a request by Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio, the Phoenix Police Department released audio of threatening calls received by 911 operators in the wake of a video that showed segments of an arrest of shoplifters.

The 911 threats are only part of an attack on Phoenix Police staff and City officials after a cellphone video, released in June, went viral showing parts of an arrest of family members for shoplifting in May.
