The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying hit and run driver.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, on July 1, 2019, a man pushing a shopping cart was struck by an unknown vehicle within the westbound lane of Southern Avenue within the intersection of 47th Avenue in Laveen.
The vehicle did not stop or phone police or emergency services.
Detectives determined the suspect vehicle is possibly a 1999 to 2006 Chevrolet pick-up truck or SUV in a ½ ton or ¾ ton configuration, unknown model or type. The color of the vehicle is unknown and the vehicle should have damage to the front end to include the headlight assembly and grill area.
