AVONDALE — A fire ignited in brush in the the Gila River bottom near ISM Raceway on Thursday.

The Orme Fire is burning in the Prescott National Forest about seven miles northeast of Mayer approximately 6 miles south and east of Dewey, Arizona.
The fire has grown to an estimated 1200 acres.

#OrmeFire -Firefighters responded to a fire burning approximately 6 miles south and east of Dewey, Arizona. The Orme Fire is burning in grass and brush on the Verde RD.
