Arizona Department of Public Safety detectives are asking the public for help locating a white pickup truck that was involved in a single-vehicle multiple injury collision on Salt River Bridge.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS), on Saturday, June 6, 2019, at approximately 6:16 p.m., a Chevrolet sport utility vehicle (SUV) was traveling westbound on Interstate 10 when it was reportedly cut off by a white pickup truck.

AZDPS detectives do not believe the pickup truck collided with the SUV, which spun out of control and collided with the center median wall ejecting one passenger who was 17 years old.

Six passengers, and the driver, were treated for injuries at a local hospital.

The white pickup truck, described by witnesses as having gray primer around the right rear tire area, did not stop at the scene.

The driver of the SUV is suspected of being impaired and is currently under investigation by AZDPS detectives.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating the white pickup truck. Anyone with information can contact AZDPS here or call (877) 2-SAVEAZ (877-272-8329) 24 hours a day.
