Man Shot By Tucson Police Officer At Fort Lowell Park

TUCSON – A man holding a knife was shot by Tucson Police at Fort Lowell Park on Wednesday, at approximately 11:00 a.m.

Officers were talking to a woman in the park when a man charged at them while wielding the knife. The man reportedly knew the woman.

Tucson Police allege that the man ignored multiple warnings before he was shot.

  1. Imagine that someone with a gun takes out a bad guy with a weapon. Tell me again why I should give up my guns. There certainly seems to be no shortage of bad guys with weapons.
