Oro Valley – Oro Valley Police have identified the victims of the fatal crash that occurred on Wednesday as 85 year-old Richard Brown and 85 year-old Marjory Brown.
On Wednesday, August 21, at approximately 9:04 a.m., the Browns were traveling east on Tangerine Road approaching La Canada in a Toyota Rav 4. A white Ford Raptor driven by a 19 year-old male made a u-turn and collided with the Rav 4.
The collision pushed the Rav 4 into the adjacent lane and into the path of an oncoming tow truck also traveling east. This second collision caused the Rav 4 to hit a tree.
Oro Valley Police are continuing the investigation. No citations have been issued at this time. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
