Tempe Police Seek Identity Of Sexual Abuse Suspect

TEMPE — A man accused of groping a woman on a light rail train on Monday is being sought by Tempe Police. The woman was sleeping on the light rail when an unknown man put his hands down her pants without her consent.

The man, describe as a Native American man around age 30, reportedly got off the light rail train at the Rural Road and University Drive stop. He then headed eastbound on foot.

According to Tempe Police, the suspect:

Stands between 5’7″ and 5’10” inches tall
Heavy build
Black hair and brown eyes

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and black pants.
