UPDATED: Biggs Introduces Motion To Censure Schiff, 61 Co-Sponsors Secured

Rep. Andy Biggs speaks on House floor

Last week, Arizona Rep.Andy Biggs introduced a motion to condemn and censure House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff. Biggs and his 73 co-sponsors are condemning Schiff “for his false retelling of the conversation between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky during a recent hearing on the whistleblower complaint.”

In a September 26 House Intelligence Committee hearing, Schiff gave a dramatic reading of his interpretation of a memo released by the White House regarding Presidents Trump’s phone call with Ukraine President Zelensky.

Schiff described his interpretation as “the essence of what the president communicates” in his call with Zelensky “in not so many words.”

Later in the same hearing, Schiff was forced to admit that it was merely a “parody.”
