  1. They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. With the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

When my Grandpa was in his 70’s suffering from arterial sclerosis which affected his memory, he barely remembered who Grandma, his wife of many decades, was. One morning when I visited him in the nursing home back in the early 1980’s where he was confined to bed, I said to him, “Grandpa, today is December 7th. Do you remember what happened this day? He looked at me with a clarity of vision that none of his family had seen for many years and said, “Yes! Today was the day that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii!” That was an event that even dementia couldn’t erase from his memory. During WW II, he had served in the Coast Guard, patrolling the Florida shores for Nazi submarines which attempted to drop off spies. I am grateful to Grandpa and all of my relatives who stepped forward to defend this country and to all Americans who have done so and to those who serve to protect and defend us now. May God bless and protect all of you and your families!

  2. God bless them all. I beg all of you to take your teenagers and young adults to see Midway. They aren’t learning these stories in school, and they NEED to know what real heroes look like.

  3. The price of Freedom is costly. Thank you to all who paid the Ultimate Price. Thank you to all who have served in our Armed Forces. Thank you to all the First Responders who go out and put themselves at risk to do their jobs everyday. Thank you President Trump for continuing to do your job even when so many in the establishment hate your very existence. MAGA!
