Belly dancers often face sexual harassment when audiences mistakenly associate belly dancing with the sex industry.

Pei-Yu Lin interviewed belly dancers at Xanadu Dance Studio in Tucson, and senior dancers Carmen Evans and Ramona Grewe, to shed light on this issue and provide solutions to the problem.

Pei-Yu Lin is a graduate student studying for a master’s degree in journalism at the University of Arizona.
