CLIFTON – A Tucson man, Eduardo Montano Jr., is in custody in connection with the shooting death of a Safford man, Matthew Gerald Misener.
Matthew Misener was killed while driving to work on February 10 at approximately 5:00 a.m., according to Clifton Police. The shooting caused Misener to crash his vehicle in the area of Mile Marker 165 on Highway 91.
According to Clifton Police, investigators received leads and tips from witnesses as well as other people involved with Mr. Misener. This information lead them to a vehicle belonging to Montano.
Montano is being held on a $1,000,000 bond and is charged the murder of Matthew Misener.
