WASHINGTON – On Sunday, the Bernie 2020 campaign announced a series of barnstorms across Arizona. The barnstorms, which are volunteer training events, will be held in Flagstaff, Phoenix, and Tucson.
Flagstaff, Phoenix, and Tucson are the sites for Arizona’s three state universities. Sanders has drawn much of his support from college students.
“Our campaign has built an unrivaled volunteer base across Arizona,” said Sarah Michelsen, Bernie 2020 Arizona State Director. “Working people in Arizona know that when Bernie is in the White House he is going to fight for them, because he always has.”

To date, volunteers for the Bernie 2020 campaign in Arizona have held nearly 400 events, including phone banks and canvasses.
This weekend, both Tom Steyer and Pete Buttigieg dropped out of the Democratic Primary race, so Sanders is expected to pick up more support.
I want to congratulate @PeteButtigieg for running a strong and historic campaign, and to welcome all of his supporters into our movement. I urge them to join us in the fight for real change in this country.
