“Angelica” Stolen From Pima County Resort

“Angelica”

TUCSON – A sculpture named “Angelica” has gone missing from Hacienda Del Sol, a resort in Pima County.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, May 31st, 2020, deputies responded to the resort, located at 5501 North Hacienda Del Sol Road, for a report of a theft. When deputies arrived, they learned that “Angelica” had been taken from the property sometime between 7:30 p.m. on May 30th and 6:00 a.m. on May 31st.

“Angelica” was being displayed as a free drive through exhibition at the resort. “Angelica” is the creation of local Tucson Sculptor, John Benedict.

“Angelica” stands over 6 feet tall, and weighs between 200-220 lbs.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org
