PHOENIX – Phoenix Police say the shooting of a woman while she was riding in a car on Sunday afternoon, was not random.
According to Phoenix Police, the shooting occurred in the area of 1500 West Sonora Street.
The woman’s husband reportedly attempted to take her to the hospital but was able to flag down an officer near Central Avenue and McDowell Road.
The unnamed woman was taken to the hospital by the Phoenix Fire Department. She is in extremely critical condition.
