On Monday, ahead of Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Arizona to accept the Arizona Police Association’s endorsement of President Trump, Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb urged Republican activists to get involved in the 2020 election. “The Constitution is hanging by a thread,” Lamb told Pima County Republicans.
Sheriff Lamb, who describes himself as a “constitutional sheriff,” is one of the most popular politicians in Arizona. He first was elected in 2016.
