A 40-year-old Tucson man, Phillip Emmanuel Foye, was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound by Tucson Police officers on Saturday.
A young boy also was found shot to death. Foye apparently shot the boy before taking his own life.
The bodies were discovered shortly after midnight, when Tucson Police were asked to conduct a welfare check at a home in the 10000 block of East Palmetto Pointe Trail
A woman, who also lives at the home, was not inside when the incident occurred, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
