Cindy McCain Facing Censure By Arizona Republicans

Maricopa County Republicans applauded a resolution to censure Cindy McCain due to her work on behalf of President-elect Joe Biden during the 2020 General election cycle. Republicans from across the state are expected to formally approve the “Censure McCain” resolution on January 23.

Cindy McCain, wife of the late Sen. John McCain, actively campaigned for Biden and frequently attacked President Donald Trump.

Sen. McCain, who regularly attacked his fellow republicans, was censured a number of times by the Party.

The Maricopa County Republican Party also elected new officers. According to the popular conservative blog, Seeingredaz.com, “1,622 Precinct Committeemen participated in the vote, with 629 in person; 445 via Zoom; and 548 by proxy.”
