Over A Half Million Doses Of COVID-19 Vaccine Administered In Arizona

As of Wednesday morning, over a half million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Arizona. The vaccines became available approximately six weeks as part of the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed.

To be precise, Arizona has administered 518,125 COVID-19 vaccine doses to 430,673 individuals, including 79,026 who have received both doses.

The pace of distribution has dramatically increased since Jan. 11, when the state-run COVID-19 vaccination site at State Farm Stadium began operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Another state-run site at Phoenix Municipal Stadium is scheduled to open on Monday, Feb. 1.
