Casa Grande, AZ – A 71-year-old man, John Butorac, was arrested by officers with the Casa Grande Police Department on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
The Casa Grande Police Department was made aware of relevant information about Butorac via a cyber tip generated through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Casa Grande Detectives, with the assistance of the Department of Homeland Security-Investigations (HSI), executed a search warrant at Butorac’s residence on Wednesday morning. Detectives seized multiple items of evidence, to include computers, hard drives, and cellular phones.
Officers arrested Butorac at his residence in the 300 block of North Rainbow Drive in Casa Grande. Butorac’s arrest was a result of an extensive investigation regarding Child Pornography.
Butorac was taken into custody without incident, interviewed, and transported to the Pinal County Adult Detention Center. Charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (4 counts) will be forwarded to the Pinal County Attorney’s Office for review.
