On Wednesday, Arizona State University students gathered to show their support or opposition to Kyle Rittenhouse, who was briefly enrolled in online classes. Rittenhouse has said he hopes to resume his studies and will surely find supporters and opponents on campus in Tempe, Arizona.
A small group of protestors from MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán), Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine and the Multicultural Solidarity Coalition, that organized the event chanted “killer Kyle off our campus.”
A larger number of students from College Republicans United, Turning Point USA, and other conservative groups chanted “let’s go Brandon,” and “let’s go Kyle.”
The event was nonviolent.
