As Arizona braces for a massive surge of migrants across its insecure southern border, the consul general of Ukraine urged Arizona lawmakers to provide more assistance to restore Ukraine’s border during a special joint session of the Legislature.

The week before, Governor Doug Ducey visited the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs to send off 9,000 pounds of equipment and supplies to the Ukraine government.
