Phoenix police detectives are investigating a shooting that took place in a neighborhood near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road that left an unidentified adult male dead.
Jose Estrada has been arrested in connection with this homicide case.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, in the late evening hours of September 5, 2022 at about 10:37 p.m., officers responded to a call of an individual shot. Officers arrived to the area of 51st Avenue and Clarendon Avenue and a man with a gunshot wound. Phoenix Fire department arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
Detectives booked Estrada into Maricopa County jail.
