The Apache Junction Police Department is investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy died from fentanyl.
According to the Department, the boy ingested at least one dose of fentanyl.
The boy was taken to the hospital by his family and treated with Narcan before being air evacuated to another hospital, where he passed away.
The family is cooperating with detectives.
