Phoenix police are conducting an investigation into the deaths of a man and woman who were found dead in a South Phoenix apartment.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on July 3, 2023, around 11:35 a.m., officers responded to the apartment complex located at 8028 South Central Avenue after a dead body was found inside one of the apartments by employees of the complex. When officers arrived, they entered the apartment in question and located a man who was pronounced deceased on scene. Additionally, an adult woman was located inside of the apartment. She was also pronounced deceased. Due to circumstances at the scene, investigators were not able to determine if the deceased persons suffered trauma prior to their death.
The Office of the Medical Examiner recovered each of the bodies.
