Mohave County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Kingman man in connection with a drive-by shooting.
Caelin Burks, age 18, was arrested for attempted First Degree Murder.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, on September 23, 2023 at approximately 12:50 a.m., a drive-by shooting occurred at an occupied residence on Freiday Lane.
During the investigation, it was found that Kingman Police Department had investigated a drive-by shooting in city limits the day prior. The shooting at the Freiday Lane address was found to be retaliation for the shooting in Kingman the day before.
Detectives identified Burks as one of the shooters for the Freiday Lane drive-by shooting. Burks was placed in custody and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detection Center without incident.
