On Sunday, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office responded to a small plane crash in Cottonwood.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO), a small plane crashed into a residential area on Spur Drive. The pilot is in stable condition having been transported to a Phoenix area hospital.
No one else was on board the plane and no one on the ground was injured.
Property damaged is limited to the plane, a detached carport. The home was not damaged.
The FAA is investigating the cause of the incident.
