A suspect in an attack on a former hockey player has been indicted by a Maricopa County grand jury.
Sean Michael Daley, age 29, has been indicted for engaging in violent and disruptive behavior and causing injury to Paul Bissonnette while his capacity to resist was impaired.
This occurred outside Houston’s, a local restaurant in Scottsdale.
According to Arizona Sports, police said Bissonnette, who played for the Phoenix Coyotes from 2009-14, tried to help management calm three men who were in an altercation with Houston’s management by getting them to leave. The men then assaulted Bissonnette “inside and outside” the restaurant around 7:30 p.m.
A grand jury indicted Daley on one count of aggravated assault, a Class Six Felony, and one count of disorderly conduct, a Class One Misdemeanor.
Three other individuals were involved in this incident. These cases were initially submitted to the City of Scottsdale Prosecutor’s Office on misdemeanor charges. They have since been dismissed and submitted for felony charge(s) to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where they are currently under review.
ETOH – the cure to sanity
I hope the little b****es find all the beef they want in prison; maybe they’ll get their fill and learn to control themselves on the outside.
