Phoenix Police Department detectives are investigating what is believed to be a murder/suicide that has claimed the lives of a man and woman both in their 60’s.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, at about 7:36 a.m. officers were called to a house near 18000 North 3rd Avenue to check on the occupants. When officers got there, they found a 65-year-old woman dead of an apparent gunshot wound. A 69-year-old man was also located dead inside the house with what is being reported as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Detectives are working to identify the victim and suspect’s relationship.
